Tracking Your Donations
The Donations tab provides a complete view of all financial gifts received for the trip — both online payments through Stripe and offline donations recorded by the trip leader.
Viewing Donations
The donation list shows each gift with the following details:
- Donor name — who made the gift (or "Anonymous" if they chose privacy)
- Amount — the donation amount, including any fee coverage the donor opted into
- Recipient — which team member the donation was directed toward, or "Trip General" for undesignated gifts
- Date — when the donation was made or recorded
- Type — online (Stripe) or offline (cash, check, etc.)
Filtering & Searching
Use the filters to focus on specific donations:
- By participant — see donations for a specific team member
- By date range — narrow down to a specific time period
- By type — view only online or only offline donations
Recording Offline Donations
Trip leaders can record cash, check, or other offline donations using the + Record Donation button. These count toward fundraising goals just like online donations. Include the donor's name and email when possible so they appear in the supporter list.
Donation Batches
For churches that collect multiple checks at once (e.g., after a Sunday service), use the Create Batch feature to group offline donations together. Batches make it easier to reconcile records with your church's accounting system and track when groups of donations were deposited.
Totals & Progress
Running totals at the top of the page show overall trip fundraising progress and per-participant breakdowns, so leaders can quickly see who needs additional support.
