What Is It?
A trip discipleship group is linked to a specific mission trip. It works like any group — leader, members, course, sessions — but appears in the trip's Discipleship tab for a unified view.
Setting It Up
- Go to your trip's Discipleship tab
- Click "Create Discipleship Group"
- Assign a course for pre-trip study
- Add your trip team members
- Set a meeting schedule for pre-trip gatherings
Best Practices
- Start 6-8 weeks before the trip so there's time to work through content
- Make it required — completing the course should be part of trip preparation
- Use sessions for team building — pray together, share expectations
- Keep the group active after — debrief and process the experience together
